Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Toolkit’s free tools. This page explains how accessible it is, and what to do if something doesn’t work for you.

About this statement
This statement applies to the Deeplink Toolkit, at toolkit.deeplink.uk, run by Deeplink Coaching.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use the Toolkit. For example, you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings;
- zoom in up to 400% without having to scroll sideways, apart from the wide tables listed below;
- get around the website using just a keyboard;
- use most of the website with a screen reader (see the known issues below);
- take the Readiness Check without a timer;
- turn off animations.
We’ve also tried to make the text as simple as possible to understand.
Settings that can help
- No timer. The Readiness Check has a 20-minute timer, which you can turn off before you start. Your score is worked out the same way. The other tools have no timer.
- Pause animations. Use the Pause animations button at the foot of every page to stop the moving background and the other animations. We remember your choice on this device. If your device is set to reduce motion, we respect that too: the opening animation is skipped and the background stays still.
- Charts. Each chart has a text description for screen readers, and the Salary Checker also lists its figures in a table.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of the Toolkit are not fully accessible yet:
- Real screen readers. We’ve tested with automated checks and by checking what each page tells assistive technology, but not yet with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack on real devices.
- Wide tables. Tables on the Salary Checker, Analyst or Engineer? and Privacy notice pages need scrolling sideways on small screens. You can reach and scroll each one with the keyboard.
Feedback and contact information
If you need help with anything on the Toolkit, or information in a different format, email coaching@deeplink.uk. Tell us:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- what you were trying to do;
- what device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.
We’ll reply within 5 working days.
Reporting accessibility problems
We’re always looking to improve. If you find a problem that isn’t listed on this page, or you think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, email coaching@deeplink.uk.
If you’re not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
Technical information about this website’s accessibility
We are committed to making the Toolkit accessible. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, as our standard.
Compliance status
The Toolkit is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, because of the issues listed under “How accessible this website is”.
Content that’s outside our control
- The spam check on the forms that send email is Cloudflare’s Turnstile. It usually works without you doing anything, but if it asks you to show you’re not a robot, how that works with assistive technology is up to Cloudflare.
- Many pages link to other websites, such as the Office for National Statistics. Their accessibility is up to the people who run them.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 28 September 2026.
The Toolkit was last tested in September 2026, against WCAG 2.2 AA. We used automated checks (axe-core) on every page and on each tool’s screens and results, at desktop and phone sizes, and checked keyboard use, focus, colour contrast over the moving background, zoom and reflow, and reduced motion by hand.
