Free tools that show graduates where they stand, made by the coaches at Deeplink Coaching.
Why we made it
Most graduates applying for data roles never hear why they were turned down. Their GitHub goes unread, their CV gets a few seconds, and interview feedback, when it comes, is one line. The Toolkit gives you honest, specific feedback on the things hiring managers usually look at, so you can see what to work on.
Who we are
The Toolkit is made by Deeplink Coaching, a sister company of Deeplink. Deeplink Coaching runs a paid, one-to-one Data Analyst programme for graduates, with an optional Data Engineering upgrade. At the end of each tool we mention it, and you can book a free call or register your interest if you’d like to. You don’t need to do either to use the tools.
How we keep it honest
- A guide, not a prediction. Scores compare your work with what junior data hiring managers usually look for. Each tool’s page explains exactly what it checks. No score can tell you whether you’ll get a particular job.
- No jobs, no introductions. We don’t advertise vacancies or put anyone forward to employers. The tools help you judge your own work and the jobs you find yourself.
- Your data stays with you. Most tools run entirely in your browser. Where you choose AI feedback, the text is sent to be marked; we don’t keep it, and our AI providers don’t use it to train their models. Read the privacy notice.
- Sources for every figure. The Salary Checker and Options Compared use published figures, with the source and date shown next to each one.
